Contains introduction, working notes, and checklists for vol. 1 of the bibliography. Includes letters to Heller from David Magee, and to Heller and Magee from numerous individuals, including Flora Arnstein, Albert M. Bender, Wilder Bentley, Oscar Lewis, Alfred Sutro, and Joyce Wilson, with some 1975 correspondence concerning reprinting vols. 1 & 2. Also includes Elinor Heller's annotated copy of Will Ransom's "Private Presses and Their Books," and a small number of miscellaneous drawings and other materials.
